This Axe Target is a DOUBLE SIDED edge grain wood target that helps you fine tune your skills. Both sides of the target can be used doubling its useful life.
The target is made from 6 blocks of Douglas Fir. We use professional
high quality water resistant glue to join the blocks creating a very durable and solid target. The only metal in the entire piece is the eye bolts on the top for you to hang your target and 16 nails that holds the frame in place. The nails are 1 1/2" deep and only 1 1/2" in from the frame edge. There is little chance of your axe hitting them.
Our Axe target has a 3 1/2" red bullseye, 4" with the black border. The next ring is 12" and the outside one 20". You can touch up the target rings with any permanent marker. We leave the reverse side of the target plain so you can make your own target design.
This target is 23 3/4" wide and 23 3/4" tall it is a real nice 3 1/2" thick and made for all light and medium weight axes.
This target weighs about 40 pounds, heavy and solid. Each target measurements will vary slightly.
This target is easy on your axes or knives.
To hang your target we have included two eye bolts to attach to the top of the target. This target can handle some light rain but we suggest you do not leave it in the rain.
