This crazy, eclectic blank is very colorful. Bowls produced with this blank are really admired. We don't always have these blanks in stock as they tend to sellout fast. 
The natural colors really pop when finished.
This bowl blank is made with select hardwoods, Padauk, Cherry, Hickory, Bloodwood, Jatoba, Black Walnut, Zebrawood, Purpleheart, Maple, Yellowheart and Peruvian Walnut, all hand selected. This is a segmented blank consisting of assorted layers no two are alike and not all blanks contain all the woods. We carefully glued all layers together with the highest grade FDA approved and food safe glue.
The blank measures a bit over 6" across and is 3" high. It has 7 layers across and 4 high, 28 pieces. Each layer is twisted 90 degrees make a nice eclectic pattern. Dimensions are slightly under actual size. We do this so you know what you are getting for a useful turning area once you round off the blank. Each blank is different.
To save you time and wear on your tools we have cut this blank into an Octagon. So it is ready to go. Also on one side we have marked the center and put a penciled circle so you can easily find the center and see the full size.
