About this blank:
This is a set of 5 (five) striped, segmented, checkerboard style, turning blanks. Each set is different and unique. No two sets are alike. All are quality blanks that will produce awesome projects. Many people cut these blanks in half for Bottle stopper or duck call blanks. There is lots of flexibility with the 5 3/4" length.
These blanks are made with select hardwoods, Padauk, Maple, Purpleheart, Cherry, Mahogany, Yellowheart, Zebrawood, Oak, Hickory and Black Walnut, all hand selected. These are segmented / laminated blanks. We carefully glued all layers together with the highest grade FDA approved, food safe glue.
The blanks measure 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" and are 5 3/4" high. Dimensions are slightly under actual size. We do this so you know what you are getting for a useful turning area once you round off the blank.
