Hardwood Cutting Board - 13" x 11 1/2" x 1 1/8" - A Great Show Board

An awesome cutting board that would look great in any kitchen. It is made up of 13 layers of quality hand selected hardwoods. The wood runs edge grain and that will make for a very durable board the will not bow. Edge grain cutting boards are a more affordable alternative to a end grain board but so much better than face grain boards. This board alternates with Yellowheart and Peruvian Walnut, this makes for a stunning contrast.

The board is 13" long, 11 1/2" wide and 1 1/8" thick. One side of the cutting board is totally flat while the other side has a grove to capture any juices when carving your favorite meats. This board also comes with a washable nonslip pad.

100% FDA approved water proof glue is used to make our boards and it is finished with multiple coats of FDA approved salad bowl oil and bees wax.

Thanagan cutting boards are designed and made by a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and he understands that every Chef and home cooks alike needs an excellent quality and durable cutting board.

This board is great to use not only as a cutting board but also makes a great cheese, bread or sushi board. It looks really nice on a buffet table.

It is easy to care for, just wash it with some mild soap, dry it after and every couple of months rub it with some mineral oil or Thanagan's Wood Conditioner and it will stay looking great for years. Please don't put in a dishwasher.
