We love our Crazy Eclectic bowl blanks, they are crazy, Eclectic and very colorful. Bowls produced with this blank are really admired. We don't always have this blank in stock as they end to sellout fast.
This bowl blank is made with select hardwoods, Padauk, Mahogany, Cherry, Hickory, Red Oak, Zebrawood, Purpleheart, Maple, Yellowheart and Walnut, all hand selected. This is a segmented blank consisting of assorted horizontal, layers no two are alike. Not all blanks contain all the types of wood, each one is unique. We carefully glued all layers together with the highest grade FDA approved and food safe glue.
The blank measures 5" across and is an impressive 3 1/2" high. Dimensions are slightly under actual size. We do this so you know what you are getting for a useful turning area once you round off the blank. Each blank is different and unique.
To save you time and wear on your tools we have cut this blank into a Circle or Octagon, eight sides. So it is ready to go. Also on one side we have marked the center and put a penciled circle so you can easily find the center and see the full size.
