A great all wood knife throwing target. It has much desired end grain that is easier on your knives and considered self healing.
TIC-TAC-TOE features a tic-tac-toe grid on one side of the board and a single red dot in the center of the other side of the target. We use a permanent marker to draw the grid on the board so it is very easy for you to touch up with and type of permanent marker. The dot is 1 1/4" wide and not just painted on, it is a dowel plug embedded in the board over 1" deep. Both sides of this target can be used.
This is a great game board. Can you get "three" in a row? Play against a friend to see who gets tic-tac-toe first. Leave the knives in the square to mark its spot. First one in a square gets that square.
TIC-TAC-TOE measures about 11 1/2" wide, 11 1/2" tall and 3" thick. The hanging eye
bolt on the top adds another 1 1/2". This target weighs almost 8
pounds. Each target measurements will vary slightly.
We make our targets from Douglas Fir. We use professional
high quality water resistant glue. The only metal in the entire piece is the eye bolt on the top for you to hang your board and a couple of screws in the frame, they won't damage your knives.
The end grain design is easy on your knives and aids in your knives sticking in the board.
To hang your target we have included two 4" nails just drive one of them into a tree and you are ready to go. It will also stand on his own or can be leaned against something. One guy we know ties a rope on the eye bolt, hangs it from a tree and lets it swing back and forth as he tries to "hit the moving target". While this target can handle some light rain we suggest you do not leave it in the rain.
